I found this picture interesting as soon as I noticed that their facial characteristics wernt attatched to their faces. The person who illustrated the photo makes me wonder whether this image is about female beauty. Im not really sure what this image signifys, but the fact that you never see this type of artwork/ human collaboration often keeps me interested and engaged.
This photo comes from a motion picture project also known as Fully Flared. The first time I saw the video I thought it was the best video ever due to their use of creativity to make the video entertaining as possible. The Skater in the image is Mike Mo, proffesional skateboarder, and I really like how detailed this photo is and its more enjoyable if you know what trick he landed and how many attempts it took him. During the process of the picture his skateboard company he rides for set dynamite under the stairs to create the special affects in the background.
The skateboarder behind this photo is named mark Gonzalez and he contributed the most creativity in skateboarding til this day. He is known for making skateboarding seem like a life style and not just a hobby the way he expresses himself on a piece of wood is amazing. The yellow jacket is bright and vivid which is the first thing you notice which I think is pretty cool because the background setting seems dark. I like the angle used in this photograph. It is more of an Arial view and the camera setting on the lens is fish eye which fits everything in one shot like a fishbowl.
I took this picture during the summer because I remember that was when I started getting my tail slides on lock. This was the first spot of the day and I was hyped to skate it. I asked my friend to take a picture on my phone, so I give him most of the credit. Shout out to my boy Jeorge because he was the photographer, but I was the creativity behind it. I had specifically told him to shoot it at an angle so that the poles in the background and stairs would appear. After 10 minutes of shooting I knew this was the right one. My favorite part of this picture are the poles and how they are stripped due to the Suns affect.
I remember shooting this photo in Balboa Park. This was one of the first spots of the day and I was eager to skate it because it was my first time. The spot had 4 ledges back to back, so it was perfect for filming. The ledges are on the bottom right, but the reason I took this photo was because I felt like i was in a jungle and the scenery was amazing. I love skating these type of spots it makes me enjoy skateboarding, so much more.
This is one of my favorite photos on my phone because there is so much going on. I had my friend take this photo in an angle, so that he could include the Tennis Club sign and the ledge at an angle that would make it look bigger. Believe it or not but this ledge is half my size and in between is a wood chip gap, so not only do you have to get on it with enough speed you have to clear the gap as well. This spot was challenging, but the photo was amazing and memorable. I really like how focused I am in this photo also.
I purposefully took this photo in Arial view, so that the structure of the skate park structure was exposed. I really like how the sun glared into my lens and left sun ray on the photo which made the picture a little more visual. I also liked how the trees in the background are small to big. Im not sure how to describe it, but it caught my interest while taking the photo. This photo took place in Ocean Beach skate park.
This photo was staged on a stage with my friends and I purposefully left the words respectful in the picture because it looked cool. I really like how the sun rays glared into the photo making it look more epic than what it already is. I tried to capture my friend in the photo to get his face reaction, but i missed it by a little. I would have tried it a lot more, but my friends were being lame.
I took this photo at Balboa Park and I love how the water fountain came out. I shot the photo when the water was at its peak, so that it could make the photo look a bit cooler. I also like how the sky looks a bit dull which brings life and emotion into the picture. The red tiles on the floor was also a fun feature i felt like i had to include in the picture.
Im not sure if this is a photograph or not, but i really enjoy how the flag looks old. This affect on the image makes it look vintage which i find interesting and appealing. If you look real closely you can see dirty stains on the flag which makes me think this flag is really old.
